An unexpected event happened to His royal majesty Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, the Eselu of Iselu kingdom Yewa Local Government area Ogun State. His royal majesty Oba Akintunde Aknyemi, his regime began in the year 2005. The Rotary Club of Ibara GRA District 9110 is an organization and business and professional person united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  The Rotary Club organized an event of celebration on the 30th of January 2022. During this event, the unexpected happened. His royal Majesty Oba Akintunde Akinyemi was presented an award in recognition of his outstanding performance, dedication and invaluable contribution towards serving humanity. Rotn. Theatre Arts as a Department in OWUTECH Owutech, Theatre Performance will soon be a department in Owu College Of Management Technology. This statement was made by the H.O.D of the Accountancy department Mr. Oduntan Oluwatoyin Kazeem as well as the director of Owutech theatre Performance currently operating as a group. There were a lot of challenges and controversies when the proposal to establish theatre as a vocational training was submitted to the management board and most of his colleagues were against it, it took a lot to even operate as a group in the school. I am sure with our just concluded project "SHAKIRA"  Theatre Arts will soon be approved as a department, it's a matter of time he said.  He explained further that there is a lot of talent in the school that is willing to explore through theatre arts which have led them to bring in an expert to teach all that concerns theatre arts.   From our reliable but "anonymous" source 'The studio will be functional from Monday 31th January 2022,' The Mass communication Department of Owu College Of Management Technology is said to have a certain amount that could only do a little but not all the studio needs to kick-start. The rector, Dr. Adekunle Aderemi said he will provide a new generator for the purpose of the studio. The other equipment needed in the studio will be available by Monday 31 of January 2022

 The entire body of Owutech Mass Communication students is protesting over this issue of the School studio. The meeting holds on the 27th of January in the school main hall as the lecturers addresses the student and urged them to pay up their dues on time to set up a functioning studio.   The Mass Communication President Oluwaseyi pleaded that there should be an assurance from the school authority that the studio will be in a working state if the dues are duly paid. Also, he pleaded with the ND 2 students to pay up their dues on time to get the studio up and running . Mr. Maxwell, an ND 2 student of the Mass Communication Department also speaks on behalf of the student to the school authority that all dues will be duly paid if the school can assure that the studio would be up and running.

Owutech Theatre Performance *OTP* has come to hit us with this wonderful movie project tilted SHAKIRAH.
